Damon plays Tom Ripley, a struggling New Yorker who desperately wants to be a part of the wealthy society he's accustomed to working for. Eventually he's hired by one of the in crowd to travel to Italy and bring back his vagabond son who's been wasting his inheritance away "finding himself".
I won't say any more and spoil the plot for those of you who haven't seen it. But for a fashionista in a world that's more buttoned up than its been in a very long time, this film is full of inspirations. Not to mention you've got Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow to ogle over if the storyline doesn't get you hooked. Enjoy! And be sure to let me know what you think.
