"Whenever they picked on me, I'd say to myself, 'One day I'll be famous'."
- Yves Saint Laurent -

Whether you're a little black boy from Hawaii that dreams of making a difference in the world or a French/Algerian born boy who only wants to surround himself with fashion instead of war toys and rough housing, the moral of the story is all the same. Dreams can't be censored, limited, or diminished based what others may expect of you. Every dream must be held on to, nurtured, and used as fuel for the long road we all must take towards success.

Legendary designer and quintessential Major Man, Yves Saint Laurent, passed June 1, 2008 from brain cancer. Soon everyone will have the opportunity to own a piece of his legacy as Christies with the permission of Laurent's life partner, Pierre Berge, will action off upwards of 700 works of art that the couple amassed over the years. Works by Picasso and Mondrian are among the collection. Stay tuned in to Christies for details on the auction and enjoy this still image of the Laurent-Berge home shown below.
