I've heard of people blessing their home before moving in and beginning the renovation process, but I wonder if that's still necessary if in a former life your new home was as a Synagogue?
In Manhattan's East Village, one couple took on the huge undertaking of creating a completely modern space from what was once the Great House of Study of the People of Hungary, constructed in 1908. Though challenging, the end result is proof that miracles are indeed still alive and well.
