BET Nominations

The 2009 BET Award hosted by Jamie Foxx and broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium on June 28th, were announced yesterday and as expected nominees Beyonce, T.I. and Lil Wayne walked away with the most nods. T.I was nominated for five, as was Beyonce and her Sasha Fierce alter-ego. Lil Wayne was nominated for four and in the surprise of the evening, newcomer Keri Hilson was nominated for four as well. Other Brown Sistas with multiple nominations include Keyshia Cole, Jennifer Hudson, and Rihanna. Jennifer is actually nominated in a singing (Best Female R&B Artist) and acting (Best Actress) category.
This year’s show will be Performances from Maxwell and Ne-Yo have already been lined up. Hopefully Keyshia, Keri, Jennifer, Beyonce and Rihanna will be asked to perform as well.
