Stefan Strumble is a German artist who takes boring old cuckoo clocks and turns them into graffiti-inspired works of pop art. A reocurring phrase in Strumble’s work is “What the fuck is Heimat?” which jokes at the fact that there’s no english word for the German word heimat. Strumbel says, “Some people link Heimat to a place, for others it is a feeling.”
