Lionsgate has released the Official trailerfor its poignant new independent film Precious, based on the novel Push by Sapphire and directed by Lee Daniels. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it won both the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award and was one of the most highly praised films at the renowned event.
The film will open in limited theatrical release on November 6, 2009.
Precious stars Mo’Nique, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey, Paula Patton, and Gabby Sidibe.
