Designer Oliver Borde doesn't play by a fashion rule book.

For the debut of his new menswear line Garde Robe, he didn't wait for an invite to fashion week in Paris. Instead he showed at the Hyères Fashion and Photography Festival in the south of France and still received rave reviews. His line for Fall 2008 also reflects a tendency to break the rules by using a vibrant nautical color pallet as well as rolled up sleeves and pant legs typically associated with Spring. Its now reported that Borde is being being scouted by LVMH among many other high end distributors, further proving that doing your own thing will always be in style.
