Never one to be outdone by anything, especially a Lifetime Television movie production, Karl Lagerfeld decided to make his own short movie that pays homage to life of Coco Chanel. Just like the brand, the film doesn't depend on fluff to get its point across. Its a throwback silent production shot entirely in black and white; a style that is known as being one of Lagerfeld's favorites. Karl describes the movie as "funny and unpretentious."
