In honor of the iconic Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob's tenth anniversary, Russell Simmons' Simmons Jewelry Co. will launch a special line of SpongeBob jewelry for men and women. The collection is led by an exclusive 12 carat diamond-encrusted pendant that will be auctioned off to benefit the Diamond Empowerment Fund. The pendant contains a total of 12 carats of white, yellow, red, and blue diamonds set in 18KT yellow and white gold. The piece will debut during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and the rest of the collection will be available for by Fall 2009 through fine jewelry and specialty retailers. Pieces will range from $150 to $75,000.
