If you're like me and arrive just about everywhere fashionably late, then there is never much time to waste when getting the party started off right. You need something strong but subtle enough so that you'll be able to throw back a couple of rounds before last call. Here are couple of my favorites courtesy of the good folks at Don Julio.
3oz Don Julio BlancoSplash of Fresh Pineapple Juice
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake, strain into a chilled martini glass and serve.
1/2 oz triple sec
1 oz melon liqueur
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.

Shake, strain into a small highball glass filled with ice, and serve.
