Forget the VMA’s! Last night’s Fashion Rocks was a must see!
Rihanna set it off (again) … The Knowles Family takeover continued … Nicole Schlesinger sung live while body popping at the speed of light … meanwhile Mariah still refuses to leave home without her lip synchable back up audio … Mary J. Blige will be inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twenty years from now and will still be wearing knee high stiletto boots during her inaugural performance (would we want it any other way?) … and did anybody else catch Fergie’s Naomi Campbell walk at beginning of the Black Eyed Peas performance?If you missed the show on CBS last night it typically re-airs on cable the following Friday. I definitely think that 20 years from now people will recognize the music Mary J. Blige is making as part of a rock n' roll tradition. And those boots are just rockin' on their own! Has anyone actually been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? I work for Positively Cleveland, and we're getting the word out about the Rock Hall. I highly encourage all music fans to check it out.
